Lazy Girl Gift Wrap
Tags:

I love a good gift wrap hack—and this one is hands down my favorite! It’s simple, FAST, budget-friendly, and turns out so cute every single time.
The best part? No ribbons, bows, or gift tags required. The design itself becomes the star of the show!
I've linked all the supplies below along with instructions, and you can see the video tutorial here!

What You’ll Need:

How to Do It:
Wrap the gift ✨
Start by wrapping your gift neatly with your plain wrapping paper.Lay down the washi tape 🎀
On the front of the gift, lay down a strip (or two!) of washi tape in the middle of the gift. This is where you'll write a little message in a minute!Add the name ✍️
Using your chalk or paint marker, write the recipient’s name really big across the whole front of the gift. Don’t be afraid to take up space—it looks best when it fills the area!Peel off the tape 🌟
Carefully peel away the washi tape. You’ll be left with a perfectly clean space to add your greeting.Write your message 💌
In that blank area, use your scriptiest, prettiest cursive to write Happy Birthday! (or Merry Christmas! or Congrats!). It instantly looks polished and intentional—without needing tags, bows, or extras.

This has become my go-to wrapping method for birthdays, Christmas, and everything in between. It’s easy enough to whip up last minute, but still feels special and creative!
