The Cutest Last-Minute Mother’s Day Card Idea

Tags:

If you’re giving a Mother’s Day card this week… try this cute little envelope idea 🥹✨

It’s simple, cute and and honestly makes a card feel SO much more special. I love ideas like this because they look thoughtful and creative without taking forever to make (my favorite kind of DIY 😂).

All you need is a card, blank envelope, washi tape and a few markers! Supplies are linked below. You can watch the full tutorial here.

Here's my favorite tried and true envelope addressing supplies you'll need:

  • White Chalk Marker: I've gone through a few white makers and my favorites are these White Chalk Markers. They're not quite as "blobby" as paint markers, easy to write with, and show up great on a darker colored envelope!

  • White Gel Pens: These are the best white gel pens I have found! They write smoothly and are perfect for adding details to your envelope.

  • Cards + Envelopes: I always keep stacks of cards on hand so I'm never rushing to the store last minute.

  • Washi Tape: My favorite tape! You can use these as you address or to seal the envelope on the back!

And if you’re anything like me… there’s just something about pretty paper goods that makes gift giving more fun 😍

I also love pairing this idea with:

It would even be adorable tied onto a bouquet of flowers 💐

If you share your own version, tag me because I LOVE seeing how you recreate these ideas!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmas, bonus moms, teachers, and women who make life sweeter 💕
