There's nothing better than a book-cation. Or reading on vacation. And it's almost that time of year again when I get to load up my kindle with new vacation reads! Or pack them in my carry on if I have extra room for physical copies haha. :) If you're looking for a few new books to read on your vacation, here are 20 of my favorites! They're charming and sweet, and perfect for plane rides or lounging by the pool!
Just Haven’t Met You Yet by Sophie Cousens – So cute, so charming, and had me actually laughing out loud. Also… now I fully want to plan a trip to the Channel Islands 🫶
Shipped by Angie Hockman – Enemies-to-lovers on a cruise in the Galápagos?! Say less. This one is SUCH a fun escape 🌊
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren – Forever a summer reread for me. So funny, so cute, and set in Maui 🌺
The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center – I listened to this on audiobook and it was a DELIGHT. Laughing, tearing up… all of it. (Yes, on a plane next to strangers 🫠)
Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter – Read this for the second time and somehow loved it even more 🥹
Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan – I am officially obsessed with Annabel Monaghan and this one just confirmed it 💕
The Summer of Yes by Courtney Walsh – Loved the message of this one SO much… and of course the romance too 🥰
Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan – Another Annabel win!! I will read anything she writes at this point 🙌
Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez – Abby does it again. This one is heartfelt, funny, and just so good ☀️
Beachy Keen by Kasey Stockton – Part of a whole summer series and I honestly recommend reading them all for max cozy vibes 🌴
Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan – Childhood friends + second chance romance… need I say more? 💛
The Love Haters by Katherine Center – Katherine Center just doesn’t miss. This one is witty, heartfelt, and full of those characters you can’t stop thinking about 💕
One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune – Nostalgic, emotional, and perfect for slow summer days. This one feels like sunshine + memories in book form ✨
Beach Read by Emily Henry – A summer classic at this point. Emotional, romantic, a little angsty… and SO good 📚
