Blog: The Cutest Hand Lettered Valentine's Envelopes +

Mailing out Valentine's day cards is one of my favorite things! After Christmas, I feel like I'm in a dry mail spell - just bills and junk. So finding a pretty card in the mail? YES PLEASE! Even if it's just a little note to say I Love You, that's enough to make anyone's day!!

You may have seen some of my favorite envelope ideas on Instagram and I've compiled a list of all my favorite supplies! Use a black marker for the addresses to make sure they get mailed and don't get stuck in processing ;) I've mailed LOTS of envelopes and the black lettering works the best - but I've mailed crazier! They just take a little bit to get there!

Here's my favorite tried and true envelope addressing supplies:

Paint Markers - I use these acrylic markers for everything! They write so well on these drink carriers too! In the photos above, I'm using the red paint marker!
Favorite Colored Markers:I love these Crayola Super Tips markers! They're the best size to write addresses with - not too thin and not too thick! You can also use a regular crayola marker!
Alcohol Art Markers: these leave no streaks and they're so fun to color with. In the envelopes above, I'm using the light pink color for the patterns on the envelopes.

If you're writing on a kraft envelope, I love these:

White Gel Pens:These are the best white gel pens I have found! They write smoothly and are perfect for adding details to your envelope.
White Paint Markers - the white marker in this pack works so well on darker colored paper!

Other supplies:

Cards + Envelopes: I always keep stacks of cards on hand so I'm never rushing to the store last minute. I use all these cards and the stationery subscription keeps me stocked up every month! Right now they're only $2!!
